Valon Durey is the CEO of both ValTech and Durey Industries, serves on the board of directors for YamaCom, and is the acting Chancellor of Tehopolis. He enjoys the company of some of the richest and most influential people in Avenir and beyond. His financial and political power is unmatched, drastically outclassing any other individual on the continent. This is the power with which most are familiar. Yet, it is the power they don’t know of that’s the true threat.

No one knows for sure, as it is all but impossible to get close to the man without him controlling the environment. That said, there are those who suspect he is more than what meets the eye. Many strange and often violent disappearances have been attributed to the leader of The City Without Limits, yet no direct involvement has ever been confirmed. And, there are very few brave enough to look closer, for fear of being the next ghost in the stories. No one can prove it, and only a select few even believe it.
